A keyboarding help-mate
Those of us who spend many hours every day at a computer appreciate comfort, especially when the comfort seems effortless. That’s what the Kensington Wrist Pillow provides. It does its job without calling attention to itself. Besides wrist comfort — for lefties and righties alike — this wrist rest is wide-format, and that feature allows an user to place the keyboard and open mousing area so it’s suitable. I like the mouse on the left, while others like it on the right. Either way, it works with ease. Another feature of this Kensington model is that it has several anti-skid circles (for lack of a better term) on the base, so the whole device stays put while in use on a desk or other such surface. It has no tendency to slide or jiggle away while you’re using it. In all, the Kensington Wrist Pillow does its job and offers good value.
Update (9/7/2010): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

Save your wrists
There are plenty of wrist rests, plastic or foam pads, etc. out there to support your wrists while typing on the keyboard. This model is much better than most. It consists of a hard surface on which the keyboard and mouse pad instead. It is long enough to accommodate both keyboard and mouse to accommodate the area as a unit. A soft pad, then extends along the entire length of the entire system. Actually, you could give the whole thing in his lap - Keyboard and mouse - if you prefer this way. It has an excellent job of cushioning the wrists over the entire width of the keyboard and mouse. Best product made for this purpose.

Does the trick!
Have used for over a year now. It works for both the mouse and the keyboard — regardless if you are left- or right-handed — and keeps them from unwanted sliding around.
It will not leak like a gel wrist rest, and does not permanently “indent” if you absentmindedly lean on it with an elbow.
In my opinion the cushion seemed a little too high for mousing, so I’ve inserted two old extra mousepads between the mouse and the platform. Otherwise, perfect!
