My drive works flawlessly.
It’s plugged to an Intel Mac Mini through FW.
It was recognized immediately but I had to do a quick re-format to HPFS
as it comes formated for Windows.
No problem there, just remember to save the Windows tools which are inside the drive if you think you might need them later.

Mac Mini low end model. A much better buy!
So I got one of these little bad boys (the cheaper model) from the apple store the day after they came out. With a student discount it came out to be just under $600 after tax, so I figured why wait for it to be available on [...]

Makes a great media center
I attached the mini to my HDTV (using mini-DVI to HDMI cable) and an optical digital audio cable. Picture and audio are perfect. It’s great.
Let’s start with the basics. It’s whisper quite, and it uses about as much power as fluorescent light bulb when idle.
